Asset Manager CAF Capital Partners | Frisco, TX | On-Site | Full-Time CAF is hiring an Asset Manager as we grow our institutionally capitalized multifamily portfolio across Texas and the Sunbelt. This is a hands-on position for an experienced real estate professional who wants real ownership of outcomes, NOI, capital plans, partner relationships, and investor reporting, inside a vertically integrated platform that is still building.

Over 15 years, CAF has executed more than $4B in multifamily transactions, built a 25,000-unit portfolio, developed nationally recognized public-private partnerships, and capitalized deals alongside premier institutional partners.
The Role:
You will work alongside team of asset managers to oversee a portfolio of CAF-owned communities and be directly accountable for asset-level performance from close through disposition, including setting business plans, driving operations through our property management teams, leading capital planning and value-add execution, and serving as a primary contact for institutional LPs and lenders on your assets. You'll work daily with acquisitions, property management, construction, accounting, and investor relations, and help shape how asset management scales at CAF.
What You Will Do Own NOI:
analyze monthly financials, KPIs, and market benchmarks; identify underperformance and drive corrective action Lead annual budgeting, reforecasting, and long-term capital planning Determine scope, prioritize, and execute CapEx and value-add programs. This will include underwriting premiums, validating ROI and monitoring execution Manage affordability covenants, tax-exemption structures, and municipal partnership compliance Be the expert in your markets and feed local intelligence into acquisitions and due diligence Prepare asset-level reporting and quarterly performance narratives for institutional partners and lenders Lead refinancing and disposition preparation, including broker engagement Mentor analysts and help build CAF's asset management processes and tools Travel approximately 10-20% to assigned markets
What You Bring:
5-10+ years of multifamily asset management experience, ideally across multiple MSAs with institutional capital partners Track record owning asset-level
P&L:
budgeting, NOI optimization, capital planning Experience in value-add renovations and CapEx ROI modeling Experience with (or strong interest in) public-private partnership and tax-exemption structures Exceptional written and verbal communication, including investor- and lender-facing reporting Proven ability to drive performance through property management teams Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
