About the Role As a Cost Accounting Analyst , you will play a critical role in driving financial insight and operational efficiency within the factory environment. This position partners closely with cross‑functional teams to challenge assumptions, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You'll bring transparency, accuracy, and forward‑looking analysis to financial reporting, forecasting, and business planning while ensuring full compliance with financial and costing standards. Key Responsibilities Identify and support cost improvement opportunities by analyzing factory performance and challenging existing assumptions Own and compile accurate, timely financial reporting , including period‑end close activities and variance analysis Support dynamic forecasting and gap‑closure tracking , ensuring visibility and accountability across the factory Partner with factory leadership on annual budgeting, business planning, and scenario modeling Develop and maintain product cost models , including new product costing in line with established costing standards Maintain and update bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate product costing Perform data quality reviews and inventory variance analysis to identify losses and improvement opportunities Collaborate with compliance and technical networks to implement best practices and financial controls Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of compliance and audit follow‑ups Participate in peer audits and cross‑factory collaboration , incorporating learnings from corporate audit trends Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field , or equivalent experience Experience & Skills 3 years of relevant experience preferred in cost accounting, finance, or manufacturing environments Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis preferred High level of comfort with financial systems and data tools Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences Demonstrated planning, organization, and stakeholder collaboration skills Why This Role Matters This role offers the opportunity to make a direct, measurable impact on factory performance, cost transparency, and financial decision‑making.
