This role will focus on turning historical and operational data into practical financial insights through forecasting, dashboard development, and custom reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, advanced reporting capabilities, and hands-on expertise with Deltek Vantagepoint and Power BI to help leaders evaluate revenue trends and project-level profitability.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools that deliver clear visibility into revenue performance, project results, and key business metrics. Develop forecasting models using historical data and current business information to support planning, budgeting, and financial decision-making. Prepare customized analyses and ad hoc reports for leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations. Evaluate profit and loss performance across projects to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improved financial outcomes. Leverage Power BI to organize, visualize, and present financial information in a way that supports timely and informed business decisions. Manage and validate data from financial and operational systems to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and usability. Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver insights that align with broader business objectives. Support data mapping and financial system reporting activities, including work related to ERP and performance management platforms when needed. 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong focus on forecasting, reporting, and business performance evaluation. Proven expertise using Deltek Vantagepoint in a financial analysis or project-based business environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for dashboard creation, reporting, and data visualization. Strong Excel skills and experience working with complex financial models, large datasets, and management reporting. Hands-on knowledge of ad hoc reporting, revenue analysis, and project-level profit and loss review. Familiarity with EPM tools such as Adaptive Insights and experience supporting enterprise reporting or planning processes. Solid understanding of data management, data mapping, and the relationship between ERP systems and financial reporting. Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
