  • POSITION SUMMARY
  • The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for performing assignments of moderate complexity and working with greater independence.
This role involves a broader range of responsibilities and may include overseeing some aspects of projects. The position is designed for individuals with 2-4 years of experience who are looking to polish their communication, presentation, and analysis skills. This role is well-suited for someone who is forward-thinking, curious, and interested in leveraging technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and overall team efficiency.
  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Responsibilities:
+ Perform assignments of moderate complexity, including financial analysis, reporting, and data management. + Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. + Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations. + Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. + Oversee specific aspects of projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion. + Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. + Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and respond to audit inquiries. + Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

  • QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 2 - 4 years of related experience + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software. + Good organizational and time management skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Effective communication and presentation skills. The annual base salary for this position will target $70,000. U.S. Venture's compensation range is specific to location and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base annual salary only, and do not include bonus or incentives, if applicable. In addition to base compensation, U.S. Venture offers a competitive benefits package.
