Not offered — candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of Brookfield, WI About the Role FCA Packaging is hiring an FP&A & Inventory Accounting Analyst to join our Accounting team at our Brookfield, WI headquarters — easily accessible from Waukesha, Wauwatosa, Milwaukee, and the surrounding I-94/Bluemound Rd corridor. This is a hands-on, in-office role that blends inventory accounting with forward-looking financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis. You'll work face-to-face with our plant and finance teams every day — not over video calls — so we're looking for someone who is local to the greater Milwaukee area (or ready to commute here without relocation support) and wants to build their career with a company that's actually rooted in this community. What You'll Do Inventory Accounting & Controls Support plant teams in conducting and auditing physical inventory counts Prepare and review inventory valuation and cost-of-materials data Dig into transaction-level detail on inventory, purchases, and cost of materials to find root causes and correct discrepancies Maintain documentation for inventory accounting procedures and controls Partner with plant management to flag pricing and usage changes that affect results Prepare monthly reporting on cost of materials, purchases, and inventory balances Support internal and external audit requests related to inventory Financial Planning & Analysis Support the annual budget process and quarterly forecasts company-wide Analyze actuals vs. budget, forecast, and prior year to explain variances Build and maintain financial models for revenue, expenses, and profitability Deliver ad hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decisions Use Excel, Power BI, and emerging AI tools (like Microsoft Copilot) to make reporting and forecasting faster and sharper What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience (strong internship/co-op experience considered); cost accounting exposure a plus Strong Excel skills — pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, large datasets Comfort working across ERP systems; Power BI experience preferred Sharp analytical instincts and genuine curiosity about the "why" behind the numbers Ability to manage competing priorities and hit financial deadlines Why FCA Packaging Full-time, stable, on-site role at our Brookfield office Direct mentorship from our Controller and exposure to both plant operations and company-wide finance Modern tools (Power BI, AI-assisted analysis) and real ownership of your work from day one FCA Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.Pay:
