About Our Client Our client is a family-owned, private $75M manufacturer located in Pleasant Prairie specializing in packaging products for customers across the Midwest. The ideal candidate is a growing accounting professional with exposure to general accounting tasks, such as journal entries, month end close, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and accruals, The team is looking to bring someone in that is ready to take a step up in their career and partner directly with the Controller and CFO.
Job Description Accounting Analyst Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation Support internal controls, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes Support credit memo processing and customer account maintenance Other duties as assigned MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Accounting Analyst Requirements:
