Financial Coordinator Location:
Waukesha, WI Schedule:
Full Time | 1st shift | Four 9-10 Hour Shifts Per Week | Includes Every Other Weekend |Some Holidays Required Compensation:

You'll work alongside a highly skilled team of specialists, emergency clinicians, and dedicated support staff in a collaborative environment where teamwork, mentorship, and continuous learning are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an energetic "people person" for our hospital to communicate financial updates to clients and create treatment plans. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss financial obligations with clients, act as a client-pet advocate and update various doctors and technicians regarding client's financial situation and the client's goals for the pet's treatment. This position requires a basic understanding of medical knowledge as explaining treatment plans to clients is fundamental to the job. The ideal candidate is comfortable with client service and has medical knowledge, a perfect position for a client service specialist working in general practice who is looking to work in a specialty environment. In your day-to-day, you will: Join the health care team as the client's advocate for hospitalized patients. Enter all services into the hospital information system (client invoice). Prepare updated financial treatment plans and review the financial portion of the doctor's recommendations with clients. Calculate and collect additional deposits as necessary Assist Client Care Specialists with processing payment balances due on check out Be a point person for insurance claim submission and applications for 3rd party lenders (care credit, etc). Involvement in the Accounts Receivable process.What You Bring:
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting (veterinary experience preferred but not required) Minimum of 1 year accounting experience Ability to work in a collaborative environment Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community Excellent communication and organizational skills Advocate for patient care Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentPerks & Benefits:
