Description :
The Department of Finance in the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business invites applicants for its Visiting Scholars Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. All interested scholars from relevant disciplines with an interest in energy finance and climate finance are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree in finance or a related discipline by August 1st, 2025. Visiting Scholars are expected to be in residence during the academic year. To apply, submit the following materials: 1. Cover Letter 2. Current Vitae 3. Two-page description of a proposed research project that will be undertaken while in residence 4. Two letters of recommendation 5. Unofficial transcripts Qualifications Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree in finance or related discipline by August 1, 2025 Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
