About the Role We're a growing custom apparel and screen-printing company that ships our products all over the country. Behind the scenes, we need someone who genuinely loves keeping the numbers clean and the cash flow smart. This is a hands-on, no-two-days-are-the-same role: you'll run our books in QuickBooks, prep financial statements monthly, handle payroll and multi-state sales tax, and act as our go-to voice on cash flow, big purchases, and where we should be investing next.

Bonus:

no experience needed with collegiate/Greek licensing — we'll teach you that part. We're not looking for someone who just wants to keep things the way they've always been done. If you get a little excited about a new app or automation that could save everyone three hours a week, you'll fit right in here. What You'll Do Own our books in QuickBooks — either hands-on or by guiding an accountant handling day-to-day order operations, invoicing and bank transaction entries Prepare financial statements monthly for owner review and strategic planning, plus year-end statements for our tax preparer File sales tax returns across the states we do business in Run payroll and manage new-hire onboarding Pick up our industry-specific licensing requirements (we'll train you) Keep an eye on cash flow and weigh in on equipment purchases, big buys, and smart use of company cash Help spot better tools, apps, and processes that make our finance operations faster and less painful — and actually help us put them in place What We're Looking For 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; controller-track or full-charge bookkeeping experience is a plus Strong QuickBooks skills Comfortable with multi-state sales tax and payroll (or eager to learn) Able to juggle multiple priority projects without breaking a sweat A mix of detail-oriented and big-picture — you can balance the books AND tell us what they mean Curious about new technology and genuinely interested in using it to make work better, not just more of it Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance preferred, not required if your experience speaks for itself Details Full-time, 40 hours/week On-site in
