Job Description
Essential Duties & Personal Requirements:
Financial & Management Reporting- Provide Americas management team and Group Finance with flash reporting, monthly management accounts, weekly cashflow, DSO, annual budget and quarterly reforecast information in accordance with Group reporting timelines.
- Assist with information required for AST Group annual external audit
- Ensure Project WIP reporting is available and process month end journals in Netsuite Transactional Finance Activities
- Management of Accounts Receivable, Cash, Accounts Payable processes via direct report.
- Process all outgoing domestic and international wire transfers to vendors
- Amex corporate card administration and monthly load (and reconciliation) into Netsuite
- Ensure payroll costs are recorded on a timely basis and in the correct trading division Financial Controls
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared at an agreed frequency
- Investigate and understand root cause of balance sheet discrepancies (for example if trial balance does not agree to underlying ledgers).
- Inventory adjustments are investigated and address gaps in operational processes. Provide inventory count support as required to ensure independence from daily processes. Payroll, HR and Other
- Manage payroll processing and employee benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Maintain personnel files, employee records and PTO tracking, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Calculation and preparation of sales commissions
- Coordinate company insurance policies and handle claims as needed.
- Manage office supply purchasing as needed. Leadership
- Accountable (alongside rest of senior management team) to support and maintain all U.S. operations
- Manage 1 direct report, ensuring appropriate KPIs and performance measures are set and reviewed.
Essential Experience:
- Associate or BS degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Extensive experience in management of an accounting function and team
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of external regulatory requirements for payroll and taxation reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel)
- Proficient in Netsuite (preferred)
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing systems or processes to keep accurate and thorough records.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:
