We're a growing organization in one of northern Arizona's most active new-construction markets, and we're building a finance team to match. Joining us means contributing to well-run, well-respected companies where accuracy, accountability, and process discipline directly support the work of putting families into quality homes. This role will serve our Prescott/Prescott Valley Division exclusively. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post daily accounting entries with accuracy and timeliness across multiple entities. Support month-end and period-close activities and assist with financial report preparation. Support cash management and banking activities. Maintain fixed asset, prepaid, notes payable, and other applicable schedules. Enforce accounting policies and internal controls. Oversee sales tax filings and compliance. Coordinate with external CPA auditors and/or advisors. Process invoicing and manage purchase orders (PO) through the full cycle (interfaces directly with Purchasing Department) Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including loan reconciliations. Track loan covenants and maintain organized, audit-ready loan agreements and supporting documentation. Track land development partnership agreements and ensure accurate, timely fulfillment of obligations. Update applicable financial and operational reports with timeliness and accuracy. Identify, improve, and assist in development of scalable accounting processes and procedures. Assist the Assistant Controller / Divisional Analyst with ad hoc projects and any additional tasks required by the department. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience managing month-end close. Homebuilding or construction industry experience is a strong plus. Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting. Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and personal accountability for work product. Software & Technical Skills Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated excellence in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, large data sets). Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience preferred. Comfort learning and adapting to new systems and reporting tools. Attributes for Success Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
