Grace Manufacturing, Inc. Russellville, Arkansas Grace Manufacturing is a growing diversified business with a focus on construction-related businesses, manufacturing, e-commerce, and consumer goods. The company is employee-owned through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Our vision is to be a business owner incubator that allows entrepreneur-minded individuals to co-own and co-manage the business with the goal of increasing professional fulfillment and long-term value for our employee-owners. The company invests in small and lower middle-market businesses across a variety of industries. We are seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting Manager that can provide accounting expertise for our construction related business operations in Prescott Valley, Arizona, and Russellville, Arkansas. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated and detail orientated individual who can be a solutions-oriented contributor to the team. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive timely monthly accounting close for assigned business units. Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation Prepare business unit financial statements and assist in preparing consolidated financial statements Provide expertise in construction/cost accounting and financial analysis to help management improve company performance Create and improve accounting and business processes Maintain systems and internal controls for assigned business units Construction tax compliance Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess: Bachelors' degree in accounting At least 5 years of experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation Construction accounting experience; job costing experience preferred Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, including pivot tables and experience working with accounting and ERP systems Highly organized and detail oriented Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and make solid decisions
