Description Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Sr. Order Management Analyst to join one of our clients on an interim basis. In this role, you will oversee critical order-to-cash activities, evaluate contract and billing implications, and help ensure transactions move through the business accurately and efficiently. This opportunity is well suited for someone with strong SaaS order management experience, advanced Salesforce skills, and the ability to work across finance, sales, customer success, and operations functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full order-to-cash process, ensuring customer transactions are entered, reviewed, and completed with accuracy and timeliness.
• Examine contracts, order documentation, and commercial terms to confirm alignment with company policies and billing standards.
• Analyze agreement details to flag exceptions or nonstandard provisions that could affect invoicing, revenue treatment, or operational execution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, Legal, Customer Success, and Operations to resolve order issues and remove processing obstacles.
• Evaluate how renewals, amendments, cancellations, and other order updates influence billing activity and downstream business workflows.
• Maintain complete and reliable customer and order data within Salesforce to support operational accuracy and reporting needs.
• Track order volumes and workflow queues proactively to reduce delays and maintain expected service levels.
• Identify opportunities to improve order management processes, strengthen scalability, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Escalate complex issues appropriately while considering business risk, financial impact, and compliance concerns.
• Assist with reporting, audit support, and broader operational initiatives as business needs require. Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in order management and billing, preferably within a SaaS or subscription-based business environment.
• Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes, contract compliance, and the financial impact of order changes.
• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce; experience with D365 is highly valued.
• Ability to interpret commercial agreements and assess how contract terms affect billing, operations, and revenue-related outcomes.
• Solid analytical capability, including financial analysis, variance review, ad hoc analysis, and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience partnering effectively with multiple business functions in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage priorities with minimal oversight.
• Familiarity with sales and operations planning and data mining techniques is a plus.
