General Job Duties:
Develop department budgets and policies in alignment with organizational vision, mission, and goalsAssist the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Chief Financial Officer in determining assumptions for budgeting and forecasting revenue during the budget cycle process Monitor aging reports, claim denials, and coding efficiency of billing and collecting activities to ensure adherence to quality and quantity standards Develop and participate in various process improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency in reimbursement and collections Coordinate with payers to ensure compliance with contract regulations and identify, discuss, and resolve reimbursement issues Conduct research, provide documentation, and review recommendations for write-off or adjustments to facilitate payment of billed chargesGeneral Job Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems, including (EPIC & possibly NextGen) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field of study required 5 years of experience in hospital-based or physician practice third-party billing and collections required #IND1Pay:
$125,000.00- $150,000.
