This individual plays a strategic role in the development of the Annual Operational Budget and will require superior analytical skills to drive value and promote innovation within the Finance organization. The position reports to the Director of Financial Operations and has direct interaction with the Manufacturing Supply Chain and Global Manufacturing Operations. Provides guidelines for development of the Annual Operations Budget and quarterly forecasting activities Manages annual product costing process to develop accurate standard costs, including Raw Materials, Direct Labor, Scrap Factors and Overhead Rates Defines strategies to track and evaluate cost reduction initiatives in conjunction with operations. Performs various plant accounting activities related to month-end close including; inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, absorption and spending analysis Partners with Manufacturing Operations to develop and maintain accurate standard costs in conjunction with current and proposed BOM's Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs for Terumo Neuro US and offshore manufacturing plants Prepares financial models and analysis to support management decision-making Coordinates with IT on resolving any cost accounting related discrepancies in the ERP system Supports procedures to ensure that costing and business practices are in compliance with internal policies, IFRS and J-SOX Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Details Job

$129,075 -$161,344 (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience 10+ years of work experience in Accounting or Finance, with emphasis on cost accounting, reporting, inventory and variance analysis; preferred in a Global Manufacturing environment Medical Device industry preferred Excellent MS Office skills; advanced Excel skills required SAP, Workday Adaptive and Hyperion experience preferred Desired Qualifications Strong cost accounting, reporting, inventory and variance analysis expertise Deep understanding and business knowledge of cost accounting and IFRS Superior analytical skills Excellent organizational and project coordination ability with acute attention to detail is essential Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are key Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Successful experience working independently, effectively and confidently in a team environment EEO We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
