This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing billing and collections functions, developing team performance, monitoring key revenue cycle metrics, improving workflows, and ensuring accurate and timely claims and payment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare revenue cycle experience, excellent analytical and leadership skills, and a proven track record of improving collections, reducing denials and aging A/R, and implementing process improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, train, and develop billing and collections teams, including oversight of outsourced billing partners. Establish and monitor revenue cycle KPIs, workflows, reports, and performance metrics. Oversee charge capture, claims submission, payment processing, denials, accounts receivable, and collections. Monitor A/R aging, outstanding balances over 90 days, credit balances, and bad debt. Identify revenue cycle issues and implement effective process improvements. Ensure timely correction and resubmission of rejected and denied claims. Monitor billing, coding, reimbursement, and collection practices. Oversee insurance verification, patient eligibility, self-pay accounts, and third-party coverage requirements. Partner with operations to ensure patients understand insurance and payment requirements. Coordinate with credentialing and operational teams regarding new providers and payer enrollment. Ensure accurate patient demographics, billing information, deposits, and practice management system data. Ensure billing statements and bad-debt write-offs are handled according to established policies. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue
