Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our client's loan operations team in a fast-paced wholesale environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the full loan lifecycle—from submission through closing—for third-party broker business. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and build a high-performing team while maintaining exceptional service levels for broker partners.

Your specific duties will include:

Hire, train, mentor, and manage processors, underwriters, and closers to drive performance and accountability. Oversee loan pipeline to ensure timely processing and closings in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs). Evaluate and improve workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times. Partner with sales teams to deliver exceptional service and support to third-party brokers. Ensure adherence to company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, Fair Lending). Review QC findings, address deficiencies, and implement corrective action plans. Required qualifications for the position include: 5+ years of mortgage industry experience. 3+ years of leadership experience managing operations teams. Wholesale mortgage experience required. Strong understanding of the full loan lifecycle (processing, underwriting, closing). Knowledge of mortgage regulations (TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, Fair Lending). Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), such as Encompass or similar. Preferred qualifications for the position include: Experience in a high-volume wholesale environment. Knowledge of multiple loan products (Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Non-QM). Demonstrated success improving operational processes and efficiency. Experience working closely with broker partners and sales teams. Experience managing larger teams (8+ employees). Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay Rate Range:

$180,000 - 250,000+ annually Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
