PM Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing window and door manufacturing company in Brea, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Looking for someone who is Bilingual Spanish/English.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance & Repair Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment including: CNC saws and routers Vinyl & aluminum extrusion machines Glass cutting and tempering equipment Screen and sash assembly machinery Automated welding and corner cleaning machines Conveyors, pneumatic tools, and material handling systems Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, sensors, limit switches, valves, and VFDs Troubleshooting Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals to identify machine failures Diagnose issues related to alignment, blade wear, cutting accuracy, and automation faults Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Perform scheduled PMs on production equipment and facility systems Inspect and replace worn components (bearings, belts, rollers, blades, etc.) Maintain lubrication schedules and replace consumables Facility & Support Systems Maintain building infrastructure including electrical, plumbing, lighting, and compressed air systems Support HVAC, ventilation, and safety systems Documentation Log work orders and repairs in CMMS Track recurring issues and recommend improvements Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools Collaboration Work closely with production, quality, and leadership teams Communicate equipment status and repair timelines Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required Technical or trade certification preferred

Experience:

2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with CNC equipment and automated machinery preferred

Technical Skills:

Mechanical repair and basic fabrication (welding a plus) Electrical troubleshooting (120V-480V, 3-phase) Familiarity with PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens preferred) Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeters, calipers, etc.)

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving ability Team-oriented with good communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 50-75 lbs Stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying temperatures Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (PPE provided)

Preferred Certifications:

OSHA 10/30

Forklift Certification CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician) CNC or machine-specific training How to
