full-time Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support the continued growth of the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and process improvements. Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process. Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including AP, AR, and Staff/Senior Accountants. Ensure accurate inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing-related financial reporting. Review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Analyze inventory transactions, standard costing, variances, and production costs. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support business objectives. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience. Manufacturing industry experience required. Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and month-end close. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
