This is a high-impact accounting leadership role for a hands-on professional who can take ownership of the full accounting function while supporting day-to-day financial operations. This opportunity is ideal for a construction accounting leader who enjoys working directly with ownership, outside CPA partners, banks, bonding companies, insurance providers, and internal teams. The role offers strong benefits, direct visibility to decision-makers, and the chance to lead accounting operations in a residential and commercial construction setting. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and related HR functions. Prepare customer billing, monitor collections, and follow up on past-due accounts. Manage WIP reporting, job costing, project financial reporting, general ledger activity, monthly reconciliations, and escrow accounts. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Coordinate year-end close, tax preparation, quarterly financials, banking, bonding, insurance, and workers' compensation accounting matters. Oversee certified payroll, prevailing wage compliance, subcontractor insurance compliance, contractor registrations, renewals, prequalification documents, and bonding requests. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity. Full-time, in-office schedule.
Location:

Salary:
$85,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and life insurance. 401(k) with a 5% match. Two weeks of paid vacation after the first year. Five sick days. Seven paid holidays.
