Position Overview A growing food company is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support its day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and internal controls. This role is ideal for an adaptable candidate with a strong accounting foundation and the potential to advance into an Accounting Assistant Manager or Accounting Manager position. Responsibilities Collaborate with members of the Accounting Department to compile, analyze, and report financial data Manage accounts receivable and/or accounts payable activities Support and complete monthly closing processes Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports for senior leadership and the company's international headquarters Use SAP and other bookkeeping systems to maintain complete and accurate financial records Ensure company invoices and bills are processed accurately and paid on time Implement, maintain, and enforce financial and inventory controls Remain current on company policies and applicable local, state, and federal financial regulations Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience Approximately 3-4 years of strong accounting experience is well aligned with the company's current needs Candidates with 3+ years of experience may be considered at the Accounting Assistant Manager level, while those with 5+ years may be considered at the Accounting Manager level Experience in either accounts payable or accounts receivable Manufacturing or production industry experience is preferred but not required Ability to learn new business operations, systems, and accounting processes quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint Authorization to work lawfully in the United States
