Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Glendale, California. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented with a strong background in financial services and nonprofit organizations, particularly lending institutions. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing financial reporting, audits, and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all financial tasks.
• Supervise and coordinate financial audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support organizational decision-making and transparency.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure the accuracy of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain financial records.
• Collaborate with payroll systems and financial reporting tools, such as Fathom, to streamline processes and deliver accurate data.
• Provide guidance and support to the team in handling complex accounting challenges.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit and financial services industry regulations.
• Contribute to year-end financial processes and reporting requirements.
