Job Description
Job Summary A growing international food manufacturing organization is seeking a Bilingual Japanese Accounting Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Hayward, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who is fluent in Japanese and English and enjoys leading daily accounting operations, strengthening internal controls, and supporting accurate financial reporting for both U.S. and Japanese stakeholders. The Accounting Manager will work closely with accounting, operations, supply chain, executive leadership, and international teams to support a stable and growing business. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll support, month-end close, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Coordinate financial reporting, analysis, and communication with Japanese headquarters or international stakeholders.
- Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
- Maintain and improve accounting controls, procedures, documentation, and compliance processes.
- Support external audits, tax preparation, regulatory reporting, and accounting team development. Compensation and Benefits
