Job Description
Responsibilites include:
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in U.S. GAAP, ensuring accurate application across all accounting activities.
- Perform and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
- Monitor and ensure accurate accounting for the flow of inventory through the manufacturing process, including raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods.
- Manage the inventory cycle count program, including oversight of count schedules, reconciliation of results, and investigation of variances.
- Review inventory variances, identify root causes, and prepare and post inventory adjustments as necessary in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policy.
- Lead or support ERP initiatives including implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations, with a focus on inventory and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate and execute system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage change control processes.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong grounding in U.S. GAAP, including inventory and cost accounting.
- Strong ERP Expereince - NetSuite is preferred
- ERP implementation, testing, and end-user training experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting and analysis tools.
- Ability to operate as an individual contributor while providing leadership and technical direction to others.
- Ability to independently manage complex, high-dollar transactions.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a cross-functional team.
