Exempt Non-Exempt About the role Sunwest Bank is seeking an experienced and client-focused Treasury Management Associate Manager to lead and develop the Treasury Management Associate team. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day support provided to Treasury Management Sales Officers, Commercial Banking partners, and clients throughout the sales, onboarding, implementation, and ongoing service lifecycle. The Treasury Management Associate Manager will drive operational excellence, enhance the client experience, improve team performance, and support Treasury Management growth initiatives. The ideal candidate combines treasury management expertise with strong leadership, relationship management, and process improvement skills.

What You'll Do:
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Treasury Management Associates. Establish performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance reviews. Manage staffing, workload distribution, and team coverage to meet service standards. Support Treasury Management Sales Officers and Commercial Banking teams with proposals, RFP responses, pricing analyses, presentations, and onboarding documentation. Participate in client meetings, product demonstrations, onboarding discussions, and implementation calls as needed. Serve as an escalation point for complex client service and implementation issues. Oversee treasury management onboarding and implementation activities to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Support treasury products and services including ACH Origination and Receivables, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, Lockbox, Wire Transfers, Merchant Services, Integrated Payables, Account Analysis, Online Banking, and API/ERP integrations. Partner with Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, Information Technology, and third-party providers to support client needs and issue resolution. Identify and implement workflow improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies. Develop and maintain procedures, service standards, training materials, and best practices. Lead special projects related to treasury management growth, technology enhancements, onboarding improvements, and reporting initiatives. Ensure adherence to NACHA rules, regulatory requirements, bank policies, and operational controls. Support ACH underwriting, approvals, portfolio monitoring, audits, and examinations. Develop and monitor team KPIs, onboarding metrics, service standards, implementation timelines, and client satisfaction measures. Utilize Salesforce, CRM systems, workflow tools, and reporting platforms to improve performance and visibility. What We're Looking For (Required) Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years of Treasury Management, Cash Management, Commercial Banking, or related financial services experience. Minimum 4 years of management, supervisory, or team leadership experience. Strong knowledge of treasury management products, commercial banking services, payment systems, and client onboarding processes. Experience supporting sales teams and managing commercial client relationships. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems, and treasury management platforms. (Nice to Have) Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation. Salesforce experience or experience with a comparable CRM platform. Experience managing treasury management implementations and onboarding projects. Knowledge of ACH processing, wire services, fraud prevention solutions, and account analysis. Experience with API, ERP, accounting software, and treasury integration solutions. Commercial banking treasury sales support experience.
