Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to support business growth through scalable processes, financial insights, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in corporate accounting, experience managing teams, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across all accounting functions (AP, AR, and general ledger) Prepare and present financial statements and variance (flux) analysis to leadership Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and manage the annual audit process Oversee and develop the accounting team, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement Manage complex accounting areas including accruals, estimates, and consolidations Own budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with leadership to model business scenarios and track performance Monitor cash flow, forecasting, and financial risk management initiatives Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory reporting requirements Evaluate and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance Serve as a technical accounting resource to internal stakeholders Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and analysis Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting 3+ years of experience in FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling) Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Proven experience managing or mentoring accounting staff Advanced Excel skills and experience producing financial reports High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Preferred CPA or MBA Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment Experience implementing or improving accounting systems and processes #RRG19
