Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls. This role will ensure accurate financial records, support management with financial analysis, and provide leadership to the accounting team. Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and account reconciliations. Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Analyze financial results, budgets, and variances and provide insights to management. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax-related activities. Maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies. Supervise, train, and support accounting staff. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Required Qualifications Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with management or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA eligibility. Experience with budgeting and forecasting. Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff. Industry experience in agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, construction, healthcare, or another relevant field.
