Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join a collaborative team in Montebelllo, California. This role is responsible for overseeing core accounting activities, supporting an efficient month-end close, and ensuring financial reporting is accurate and well supported. The position also works closely with cross-functional partners, provides guidance to accounting staff, and helps maintain strong financial operations for the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Produce monthly financial reports on schedule and ensure entries are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
  • Manage general ledger activity, including the review and approval of journal entries related to payroll, credit cards, and other recurring transactions.
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and analyze profit and loss results to identify variances and recommend corrective action.
  • Partner with accounts payable and other internal teams to improve the accuracy of invoices, payments, accruals, and related reporting.
  • Support month-end close activities by coordinating deadlines, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining organized supporting schedules.
  • Assist leadership with audit preparation, tax-related requests, and other compliance-driven accounting needs.
  • Investigate unusual account activity, communicate findings clearly, and help implement practical resolutions.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to accounting team members and encourage consistent, high-quality work across processes.
