Anderson Honda Palo Alto is seeking an experienced, high-performing Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team!
Pay:
$180,000-$220,000 per year

Anderson Honda Palo Alto 1766 Embarcadero Rd, Palo Alto, CA 94303 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage contract deals, present and sell financial products, and enhance the overall customer buying experience. As an integral part of our sales team, you will help increase dealership sales volume and profitability while ensuring our customers receive exceptional financial products, services, and support.
Duties & Responsibilities Manage Contract Deals:
Handle retail, commercial, and fleet contract deals, ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Sell Financial Products:
Present and sell products such as extended service contracts, GAP insurance, theft deterrents, and other applicable protection products.
Build Finance Relationships:
Maintain strong, professional relationships with multiple finance sources and lenders.
Dealership Paperwork & Funding:
Ensure all deal paperwork is thoroughly reviewed and submitted for funding within three working days of delivery, with contracts approved within 24 hours of contracting. Train & Educate the
Sales Team:
Provide F&I product knowledge training to sales staff and promote a strong understanding of leasing and financing concepts.
Sales Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales Managers to maximize reasonable profits on every sale and establish finance forecasting goals.
Recordkeeping & Compliance:
Attend required management meetings, maintain insurance files, ensure all required licenses are current, and prepare monthly reports.
Customer Follow-Up:
Conduct follow-up calls with customers as needed and assist with additional responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications Proven Experience:
Previous experience as an automotive F&I Manager or a high-performing automotive sales professional.
Automotive Industry Knowledge:
3-5 years of automotive finance and/or F&I management experience preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or college education preferred, but not required.
Goal-Oriented:
Strong ability to meet F&I targets, maximize profitability, and build lasting customer and lender relationships.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a high level of self-motivation.
