Job Description

Tesla vehicles get better through software long after they leave the factory. Turning that into a sustained advantage means thousands of engineers must be able to take new ideas through build, test, and packaging without the underlying systems becoming a bottleneck. When those shared systems slow down or grow unreliable, the entire organization loses momentum and the rate of real-world improvement drops. The Build Infrastructure team exists to keep that from happening by running a high-availability distributed compute platform across large clusters of machines. In this role you'll design and optimize the platform, schedulers, and frameworks that determine how efficiently every workload runs—directly shaping how quickly new capabilities reach the road and how rapidly the software behind autonomy can advance. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
