BachelorsResponsibilities Lead, train, and manage daily accounting operations, workload distribution, cross-training, and interdepartmental communications. Own the close process, review journal entries and reconciliations, manage inventory accounting, and prepare monthly financial statements. Analyze budget vs. actual variances, evaluate gross margins, maintain KPI dashboards, and build models for budgeting and ad hoc decisions. Maintain accounting policies, strengthen internal controls, and automate manual ERP and Excel workflows to improve efficiency. Serve as primary contact for external auditors, assist outside CPAs with tax filings, and oversee regulatory compliance (sales tax, 1099s).
