Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our company . This hybrid role bridges hands-on transactional management with strategic monthly reporting. The ideal candidate will fully own our daily transaction engine—ensuring flawless execution of invoicing, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and weekly payroll—while seamlessly closing the books to deliver accurate monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements.
Core Responsibilities :
Accounts Receivable & Invoicing Directly manage the full invoicing cycle, ensuring accurate and timely generation of client billings. Monitor aging schedules closely, establish efficient collections workflows, and actively follow up on overdue balances to optimize cash flow. Accounts Payable & Expense Management Oversee vendor bill entry, verification, and payment scheduling to balance cash outflows with vendor relationships. Review, reconcile, and process corporate expenses and credit card statements. Weekly Payroll Execution Own the end-to-end execution of a time-sensitive weekly payroll cycle for all employees. Ensure accurate calculations for hours worked, deductions, adjustments, and strict compliance with local payroll regulations. Month-End Close & Reporting Execute month-end closing procedures, including comprehensive account reconciliations. Prepare, finalize, and present the monthly P&L statement, balance sheet, and a brief variance summary for leadership review.
Required Qualifications & Skills QuickBooks Mastery:
Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks is required. There is a strict, strong preference for candidates who have extensive, hands-on experience navigating, customizing, and troubleshooting within QuickBooks environments to manage full-charge bookkeeping or accounting tasks.
Experience:
5+ years of accounting or corporate finance experience, with a preferred background working inside a high-growth small business or a $10M-$25M scale organization .
Payroll Expertise:
Proven experience running an in-house or integrated weekly payroll engine with zero tolerance for formatting or timing delays.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent specialized corporate experience).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical capabilities, impeccable communication skills for vendor and internal discussions, and the ability to confidently present financial data to the executive team.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
