Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations for a long-term contract opportunity in San Diego, California. This role will oversee key close activities, maintain accurate financial records, and help ensure timely and reliable reporting across monthly and quarterly cycles. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, a detail-oriented approach, and hands-on experience working in NetSuite.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and quarterly close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is complete and accurate.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and prepaid schedules to support proper accounting treatment.
• Perform detailed reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage credit card reconciliation processes and verify supporting documentation for recorded transactions.
• Support revenue recognition activities in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related reporting schedules for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor account activity, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain reporting accuracy.
• Utilize NetSuite to record transactions, maintain account integrity, and generate accounting reports as needed.
