Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a hands-on and adaptable Accounting Operations Manager to oversee key accounting functions while partnering closely with the operations team to support the day-to-day success of the business. This role will manage financial activities, help streamline processes, and provide accurate financial insight to support operational decision-making. As a highly visible position in a small-business environment, you will work cross-functionally with the Production Supervisor, taking ownership of a wide range of responsibilities and helping ensure the business runs efficiently, accurately, and effectively. Responsibilities This is an onsite role in San Rafael, CA; Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including AP, AR, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records and oversee QuickBooks. Prepare monthly financial statements and support month-end/year-end close. Assist with payroll, taxes, and other financial reporting as needed. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial activity. Work closely with operations to ensure accurate purchasing, inventory, job costing, and expense tracking. Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal team members regarding accounting and payment matters. Identify discrepancies and help resolve financial or operational issues. Support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making. Take on general administrative and operational responsibilities as needed in a small-business environment. Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential financial records. Experience Extensive experience with QuickBooks required. 5+ years experience in accounting processes, preferably within a manufacturing, warehousing, or similar environment. Basic understanding of supply chain management, logistics coordination, and production scheduling. Proficiency in data analysis using system, as well as Microsoft Office applications. Previous operations management preferred. Join our team!
