In this role, you will manage the customer's transaction from beginning to end. You will sell vehicles directly to customers and personally complete the finance process for the vehicles you sell, including securing financing, presenting protection products, preparing contracts, and ensuring all paperwork is accurate and compliant. The ideal candidate is a strong automotive salesperson with dealership finance experience who can independently manage the entire sales and delivery process while providing an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Respond to internet, phone, and walk-in leads promptly and professionally. Build relationships with customers and identify their vehicle and financing needs. Demonstrate vehicles, conduct test drives, negotiate terms, and close sales. Follow up with customers through phone calls, text messages, emails, and personalized videos. Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in the dealership's CRM. Complete the finance process for your personally sold vehicles. Submit credit applications and work with lenders to secure competitive approvals. Present financing options, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other available protection products. Prepare retail installment contracts, lease agreements, DMV documents, and all required disclosures. Review and explain all documents, terms, products, and payment information with customers before signing. Ensure every transaction complies with federal, state, lender, manufacturer, and dealership requirements. Verify that all required documents and customer stipulations are obtained before delivery. Maintain accurate deal jackets and submit completed deals to the accounting department. Follow up after the sale to maintain customer satisfaction and generate referrals and repeat business. Meet or exceed individual sales, finance-product, gross-profit, and customer-satisfaction goals. Qualifications Previous automotive sales experience is required. Automotive finance or F&I experience is strongly preferred. Ability to manage a customer transaction independently from initial contact through contracting and delivery. Working knowledge of automotive lending, credit applications, contracts, compliance requirements, and finance products. Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Excellent communication and customer-service abilities. E-leads and CDK experience is strongly preferred. Experience with dealership CRM, desking, and finance systems is preferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Valid California Vehicle Salesperson License or ability to obtain one. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by dealership operations. Must be able to pass all required pre-employment screening.
