Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support our team. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in overseeing cost accounting activities, managing inventory processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly close process with a focus on cost accounting, including reviewing inventory transactions and related activities.
• Reconcile inventory accounts and manage inventory reserves to ensure accurate reporting.
• Handle the capitalization of costs and manage accounting for purchase price variances.
• Perform cost accounting tasks within the Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.
• Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and assist in year-end audits.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Analyze and reconcile accounts to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
