Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support a growing finance organization in Denver, Colorado. This Long-term Contract position will focus on maintaining an accurate close cycle, strengthening financial reporting, and improving visibility into key balance sheet and cost activity. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on accounting experience, works comfortably in Oracle Fusion, and can partner across finance and operations to keep reporting timely, compliant, and decision-useful.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee critical month-end accounting activities to help ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial results.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong control over general ledger activity.
  • Produce accounting analyses and reporting that support internal financial statements and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and operational stakeholders to evaluate cost trends, explain variances, and improve financial insight for business decisions.
  • Record and review journal entries, including areas requiring sound judgment around revenue-related accounting and period-end adjustments.
  • Use Oracle Fusion reporting tools and data structures to support reconciliations, reporting accuracy, and process consistency.
  • Strengthen accounting procedures and internal controls to support compliance requirements and reliable financial reporting.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to the accounting team, helping balance priorities, address issues, and maintain continuity during periods of change.
