Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (A/R) Resource to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills and attention to detail will make a significant impact. Responsibilities Perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of receivables and resolve discrepancies promptly. Monitor aging reports and follow up with customers via phone or email to secure overdue payments, demonstrating strong negotiation and customer service skills. Prepare and review journal entries related to revenue recognition, debits & credits, and other financial transactions in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and data entry of financial data into relevant systems. Requirements Proven experience in accounts receivable management within a long term care/SNF setting. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to perform account reconciliation and account analysis efficiently. Proficiency in data entry tasks including 10 key typing and double-entry bookkeeping methods. Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette for negotiation and customer service interactions. Ability to handle complex financial concepts such as revenue recognition, journal entries, debits & credits accurately. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail necessary for handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
