Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to shape financial strategies, oversee complex accounting functions, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. As a key member of the leadership team, you will harness your expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and management to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.   • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepares financial reports, produces activity statements and monitors accounts,
  • Develops and implements long-term financial strategies aligned with the District's goals, guiding executive decision-making and supporting sustainable growth
  • Assesses market trends, economic risks, and other opportunities to optimize financial performance.
  • Maintains responsibility for the financial management of the District, which includes long-term planning and oversight of the budget.
  • Leads the budgeting process, prepares forecasts, and monitors financial performance against targets, including analyzing monthly financial statements, reconciling balance sheets, and identifying areas for efficiency improvement.
  • Oversees the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Ensures compliance with tax laws, accounting regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manages the District's cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation, optimizing the use of resources to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Assists with cost-benefit analysis to determine the most cost-effective expenditures for the department.
  • Performs risk assessments, implements internal controls, and develops policies to safeguard company assets, mitigating financial and operational risks.
  • Attends various local and regional meetings on behalf of the District, some of which may occur after normal business hours. Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or a closely related field is required.
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.
  • Seven years of progressively responsible finance experience is required.
  • Previous experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles is required.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pay:
$80,750.00 - $114,750.00 per year
