A typical day will include overseeing compliance-related accounting activities, reviewing financial records and reconciliations, partnering with cross-functional reams, supporting internal and external audits, monitory regulatory changes, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls.

EDUCATION AND PREFERRED TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of six years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, tax, or regulatory compliance experience. Experience with state and federal tax filings, state registrations, healthcare compliance reporting, or life sciences compliance strongly preferred but not required.
