Full-TimeAbout the RoleA growing real estate organization is seeking a Property Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys full-cycle property accounting, month-end close responsibilities, and collaborating with operations and management teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesMonthly & Quarterly CloseReconcile all balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare and post monthly and quarterly journal entries, accruals, and standard entries (prepaids, depreciation, amortization, loan activity, management fees, interest accruals).Produce monthly financial packages including P&L, budget vs. actual reporting, AR/AP summaries, and related schedules.

Complete variance analysis comparing results to budget and prior periods.

Additional ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax filings.

Support quarterly and annual corporate close activities and assist with audit preparation.

Assist with annual CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations for commercial tenants.

Provide general accounting support and assist leadership with ad hoc financial projects.
