Job Description

Position Summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role also provides oversight for tax coordination activities, including working with internal teams and external tax advisors to support compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage general accounting functions, including general ledger, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparationOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reportingMaintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial proceduresCoordinate tax-related activities with external tax firms, auditors, and internal stakeholdersSupport audits by preparing schedules, responding to requests, and ensuring documentation is complete and accurateReview balance sheet reconciliations and analyze financial results for trends or discrepanciesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting as neededIdentify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive and relevant accounting experienceCPA or CPA-track preferred
