Job Description

Description We are looking for a Treasury Manager to support core treasury operations for a long-term contract assignment based in Washington, District of Columbia. This role focuses on maintaining strong control over cash activity, banking administration, and reporting while helping ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on treasury experience, strong analytical ability, and confidence working across banking platforms and reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily corporate cash positions and help maintain accurate visibility into available liquidity.
  • Coordinate bank account administration, including account setup, closure activities, and recurring compliance-related documentation.
  • Produce regular cash reporting, including forecasts and other analyses needed to support treasury decision-making.
  • Execute treasury transactions such as wire payments, internal fund movements, debt activity, and short-term investment actions.
  • Support the ongoing administration of treasury systems and online banking portals used for operational activity.
  • Maintain adherence to treasury policies, internal controls, and documentation standards while assisting with audit requests throughout the year.
  • Review and assess monthly banking charges to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare close procedure documentation and contribute to additional treasury initiatives as business needs evolve. Requirements
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in treasury or a closely related finance function.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of bank account management, cash positioning, and treasury transaction processing.
  • Experience working with banking platforms and treasury-related systems in a detail-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and financial review.
  • Ability to prepare cash flow forecasts, recurring reports, and ad hoc treasury analyses.
  • Familiarity with data and reporting tools such as Looker or similar analytical platforms.
  • Understanding of treasury controls, compliance expectations, and audit support processes.
