- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing coaching, development, and performance guidance.
- Oversee key aspects of the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity of financial information and reporting processes.
- Support the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with
U.S. GAAP.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors throughout annual audits and SOX compliance activities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies across the accounting function.
- Support system enhancements, ERP optimization initiatives, and finance transformation projects.
- Participate in special projects, business analyses, and strategic initiatives that support organizational growth. Requirements What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in a publicly traded company and/or SOX-controlled environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with large ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor team members.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex accounting matters to various stakeholders. Ideal Background We are especially interested in professionals currently working as:
