Highly responsible position in the operation and direction of financial accounting systems for the CRA and affiliated entities. Encompasses a broad range of functions from basic bookkeeping to budget preparation, financial analysis, forecasting, tracking and reporting systems. The Finance & Operations Manager works under the general direction of the Finance and Operations Director and exercises considerable independent judgment in the completion of assignments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist Finance and Operations Director in the preparation of annual operating budgets and budget amendments. Prepare and review board reports. Review accounts payable functions including credit card transactions. Participate in human resources functions including payroll and benefits. Review contracts with financial impact and oversee payments and manage rents. Analyze controls and disburses funds under compliance with GASB reporting requirements. Assist Finance and Operations Director in the supervision of the finance department staff and related functions. Assist in analyzing CRA fiscal policies and operations. Coordinates with City and other agency staff on budget and reporting matters. Conducts financial analyses and prepares appropriate reports. Prepare and review general correspondence. Prepare records and schedules for annual audit. Assist with overseeing and implementing CRA Funding Assistance Programs, including but not limited to intake processes, program administration, and closeout. Assist with managing and maintaining contract records and files, including creating vendor form, tracking timelines, performance, and deliverables. Administrative responsibilities relating to condominium associations including board administration, timely collection of dues and fees, other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills & Experience Requirements:
BS or BA in finance, accounting or business. MBA and/or CPA preferred. Minimum five years professional experience in accounting Experience in nonprofit and/or government environment Knowledge and understanding of government and/or fund accounting Knowledge of computer software applications for automated accounting systems Ability to work independently; follow written and verbal directions; problem solving skills Ability to use database and software to prepare and analyze financial statements, reports and presentations Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers, other agency staff and the public Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
