Job Description
Job Description The Senior Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily and period-end financial operations while ensuring compliance with GAAP, FASB, and internal control standards. In this role, you will review and post complex journal entries to the general ledger, supervise the month-end and year-end close processes, and maintain up-to-date departmental checklists and procedures. A critical component of this position involves managing, mentoring, motivating, and training a team of accountants while actively promoting teamwork. You will also coordinate closely with internal and external auditors and maintain open, efficient communication lines across internal departments to gather information and resolve account discrepancies through rigorous transaction research and verification. - Minimum Seven (7) or more years of accounting and supervisory experience with international exposure.
- Solid understanding of full payroll cycle.
- Experience with Multi-Currency Journal Entries, Inter-company transactions and balance sheets reconciliations required.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs.
