Job Description

Exxelia is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team in a key role that blends technical accounting with operational insight. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Month-End :
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
Operational Analysis :
Conduct financial and variance analysis of production, labor, and financial statements to support operational decision-making.
Cost Accounting & Inventory :
Support inventory valuation by tracking and valuing materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
Inventory Control :
Support inventory valuation, including work-in-progress and finished goods, while managing the cycle count program and obsolescence reviews.
Budgeting & Forecasting :
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, weekly forecasts, and cash flow projections to align with business goals.
Internal Controls & Audit :
Implement and maintain necessary financial controls to ensure a strong internal control environment and support compliance with internal and external audits.
Tax & Compliance:
Prepare supporting schedules required for tax provisions, tax returns, and corporate compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to support business objectives and financial strategy.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Strong experience in Sage ERP is required. 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong background in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Expert-level Excel skills; must be proficient in manipulating high volumes of data and creating complex formulas. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. CPA license preferred.
