Student Life & Operations Coordinator Lighthouse Learning Microschool & Homeschool Hybrid Longwood, Florida | Part-Time | Approx. 35 Hours Weekly About Lighthouse Learning Lighthouse Learning is a growing microschool and homeschool hybrid serving K-8 students through personalized, hands-on, and relationship-driven education. We are a dynamic, family-centered learning environment focused on: innovation, flexibility, entrepreneurship, life skills, outdoor exploration, executive functioning, and preparing students for the future. At Lighthouse Learning, we believe education should extend beyond worksheets and traditional classrooms. Our students engage in project-based learning, enrichment experiences, leadership opportunities, trades exploration, community connection, and real-world skill development. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, relational, and creative Administrative Assistant & Enrichment Coordinator to support the daily operations of our school while helping lead and coordinate meaningful enrichment experiences for students.
This role combines:
school operations, family communication, student organization systems, enrichment coordination, executive functioning support, and hands-on learning experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesSchool-Home Communication Manage daily communication with families through platforms such as Playground Send announcements, reminders, and updates in a clear, timely, and professional manner Respond to parent inquiries and provide excellent customer service Support newsletters and school-wide communication systems Student Data & Information Management Maintain accurate student records, enrollment data, and documentation Organize files such as transcripts, report cards, and student profiles Ensure confidentiality and compliance with school systems and policies Scheduling & Operations Coordinate school schedules, rosters, and classroom groupings Organize field trips, enrichment rotations, outdoor learning experiences, and special events Assist with daily school logistics and calendar management Support smooth transitions and organization throughout the school day Enrichment, Life Skills & Trades Coordination Help coordinate enrichment activities including outdoor education, life skills, entrepreneurship, trades exploration, arts, movement, clubs, and hands-on learning opportunities Build relationships with local businesses, trades professionals, and community partners Assist in organizing guest speakers, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities Support executive functioning and organizational skill development for students Encourage student leadership, communication, responsibility, and problem-solving skills Support and occasionally lead enrichment activities as needed Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable with technology and organizational systems Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Positive, team-oriented attitude with a heart for students and families Ability to think proactively and solve problems independently Preferred Qualities Experience in a school, microschool, homeschool, or youth-centered environment Background in education, administration, customer service, enrichment, outdoor education, or youth programming Interest in entrepreneurship, trades, outdoor learning, executive functioning, or life skills education Creative, flexible, and solutions-oriented mindset Strong attention to detail and follow-through Enjoys both structure and spontaneity Work Schedule Part-Time | Monday-Friday School hours generally align with the student schedule plus occasional events and enrichment activities. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
