PanCare of Florida is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead daily revenue cycle operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursement. This role partners closely with clinical and administrative leaders to strengthen workflows, improve cash performance, and ensure coding and billing practices meet all regulatory and payer requirements. Position Accountabilities Manage the daily operations of the billing and coding department, staff schedules, and work assignments to ensure timely and accurate activities Manage billing and coding processes ensuring adherence to company, state, and federal regulations. Serve as the expert and point of contact for all PanCare coding and billing processes Evaluation, analysis and implementation of reimbursement codes and billing practices, including assistance with additions/changes/deletions within PanCare s EMR system Resolve complex coding discrepancies; at times conducting a thorough review of the medical record to ensure the most appropriate diagnosis Analyze patient billing complaints and observations in order to facilitate the identification and implementation of corrective procedures to ensure best billing practices Assist with ongoing development, interviewing, hiring and training of Billing/Coding staff Ensure appropriate staffing including monitoring of leave and usage of overtime Regularly monitor productivity providing timely and consistent feedback to employees Serves as a resource for physicians and other staff related to billing/coding information Assist in the development of policies and procedures as relates to billing and coding Proactively manages (including corresponding communications and escalation paths) significant issues in coding, status of projects, barriers and successes Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of regulatory changes impacting coding requirements and ensures PanCare staff are appropriately educated Promptly reports issues or trends Support EMR system implementations and upgrades providing Coding resources for the testing of applications, to ensure optimum performance following system implementations/ upgrades May assist in preparation of departmental budgeting needs and analysis Regular, predictable on site attendance Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Current Coding certification Associate degree in Business or related field; Bachelor s degree preferred Extensive understanding of Billing and Coding trends both within the company and general market patterns Minimum of 3 years insurance/healthcare billing and collections experience in a healthcare organization, experience preferably in primary care, Non-profit, or governmental environment; FQHC experience a plus Two years supervisory or management experience preferred Experience directing Coding in a multi-facility health system a plus Deep understanding of medical billing rules and regulations Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate processes are being used Ability to work as part of a team and interact with all levels of employees and community partners PanCare provides a comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental and vision insurance.
