Type:

full-time We are seeking an experienced Construction Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations in a multi-project construction environment. The ideal candidate will have strong job cost accounting and WIP reporting experience, along with the ability to partner closely with project teams and senior leadership. Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
  • Manage job cost accounting and project-based financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze WIP reports and project financial statements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls
  • Prepare and review financial statements and accounting reports
  • Monitor project financial performance, costs, and profitability
  • Partner with project managers and leadership to provide financial insights
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in construction accounting
  • Strong job cost accounting, WIP reporting, and project-based financial analysis experience
  • Experience managing AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger in a multi-project environment
  • Proficiency with construction-focused accounting software and ERP systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation
  • Experience leading and mentoring accounting staff
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus
